Another fine day in ChinaVille!! :D:D:D

I see all the people struggling with wonky numbers and almost feel guilty about how well China is doing....but of course over the almost 4 years, we had our fair share of wonky numbers too!! (and being a cat, she still has to throw an occasional wonky number in just to worry me :cat:)

Talked to DM today for awhile about her new "friend", Connie.....the other night Connie called me at about 9:15 and said she'd "put mom to bed" and she couldn't believe she was still up watching TV so late. I told her that she doesn't usually go to bed until 10-10:30 so it was early for her and then yesterday she told me she was going to wait until 10.....and when I called Mom at 9:05, she was already in bed. Connie had just left.

I told mom today that if she doesn't want to go to bed when Connie comes down in the evening, she really needs to just tell her! She's obviously not listening to me!

Like I reminded her....she knows how to be really sweet and say "Go to he**" at the same time....now she just needs to do it! ;)

China and I have had a nice afternoon of snuggle time.....been a cool and gloomy day so a perfect day for snuggles!!!

Almost five years in, I would love China numbers! :D But some cats are more complicated and bouncier than others, gotta roll with what you got. ;) Love to hear an afternoon of snuggles - hope you are feeling bette.
 
There's nothing wrong with enjoying China's numbers. You've worked long and hard to get her to this point. It's great to see her doing so good.
 
Enjoy those great numbers of China's! You both earned them and all her exercising and weight loss has paid off. Can you come and exercise me??? :p
 
Yo Deputy China, another great day watching the kitties in the lagoon and keeping them safe. I have my trip bounce, still, so I'm manning the lifeguard chair and the binoculars.

Hi Chris, sorry you and your mom have to put up with a busybody. Maybe your mom doesn't mind? Don't let it get to you until your mom complains. Do you think she might think Connie is a nurse or an aide?

Too late for that....Mom told me today that she felt like she was being stalked (but she laughed when she said it)....We talked some more about Connie tonight and mom thinks she's just a kind-hearted soul that's taking this a little too seriously.

She appreciates that she cares enough to do everything she's doing, but I'm hoping I can talk to Connie soon and get it through to her that mom's not a total invalid. Connie called me tonight to let me know they'd found mom's cat (I didn't know Miss Kitty was missing!!) and she said she wouldn't be going down with breakfast in the morning because she had things she had to do tomorrow morning and that mom had told her that she didn't want to go to bed so early (but she had to get up early tomorrow and waiting until 10 was too late for her)

Had to tell her again that mom doesn't usually go to bed until 10-10:30 and that she's capable of getting to bed all by herself....that there's no reason she has to stay up tonight. I'm betting she still shows up though
 
Gosh those are great numbers China!

It is kind of amusing that your Mom is really in charge even though Connie thinks she is. LOL I don't think its funny about the cat missing and not telling you though. I am so glad the kitty made it home.

Evidently she never made it out of the apartment....that's one of the nice things about where mom lives...IF the cat were to get out of her apartment, she'd have to be able to open 2 sets of heavy doors to actually get out anywhere....about all she could do would be wander up and down the hallways and I'm sure someone would notice her...she's the only cat in the building!

I guess she was in mom's closet in her bedroom and someone closed the door. Mom was in tears thinking Miss Kitty was gone so I was so glad to hear she was back on mom's lap where she belongs tonight
 
And I was right.....Connie showed up at 10 to put mom to bed!!!....and then called me to let me know (after I'd specifically told her she didn't need to stay up)

YAY! so glad she wasn't wandering but I bet she was hungry :)
