Jenks had a really great night last night, finally coming down into the low 100s. He was up slightly at AMPS, but I figured it would be either another dip or at least a surf through the first half of the cycle and then no big deal. Wrong. Instead, we got one of the worst PMPS readings we've had all year.

He goes high if he starts out low. He goes high if he starts out normal and then goes lower. He goes high if he starts out mild. He goes high if he surfs good numbers for half a cycle. He goes high if he was normal the night before. He goes high if he wasn't normal the night before. It just doesn't make sense! I don't know how to curb these late rises, which only serves to take all of the steam out of the night cycle because he expends all of his potential fighting down large numbers.

Positive news: Down 115 points at the overnight feeding.

Not-so-positive news: Still yellow after 115 point drop.

We bumped up to 10U tonight. We'll see how these numbers look after a couple days of a new dose.

My first comment - please keep the SS up to date. Second comment, on 10/18 you got a 36. You did not decrease - which you always should with a number in the 30's. And then you increased 4 cycles later. You are now 1.5 units above where he got the 36. Please be very vigilant. And patient.
