They certainly keep things interesting to the extreme. Looks like Hyde wants to go on a roller coaster today and hopefully just coast along for a while.
 
Wow, way to go Hyde, lovely blues. Definately worth a go with the R. Personally, I would perhaps go with a +10 for a bit of R, I've never done a +9 so not sure how this would work, will have to defer to the more experienced R users - hopefully they will be along soon to offer their advice. Really encouraging for Hyde to be getting these blues numbers, light at the end of the tunnel perhaps?

Ah hindsight, but all good data gathering Anne to help with decisions in the future. I wouldn't wait 4 hours until you next test her though, it's still very early in her trial and you can't be sure how she will react.
 
Sorry, I just now saw your tag! I'd gotten caught in a couple of other condos and not checked my alerts. But you've done perfectly! So glad you went ahead and tried the R. There's always the possibility she'd have gone higher without it.

Once you've tried a dose of R, I don't think you necessarily have to test every hour. At whatever point you're comfortable, you could stretch out the testing, depending on the numbers you get. I always liked to get the +3 because that was Punkin's low point on it. But if he was really high when I shot the R, I could be pretty sure i wasn't checking for an under 50 test! You'll get a feel for when you need to test and when you can skip one here or there.

Well, last week when I shot the R was +6 and she was in the reds. This time she was in the yellows and I felt pretty confident that she would not go to low but wanted to play it safe. Will be interesting to see if she has the same surf of blue tomorrow like she had last Sunday!
 
I'm wondering the same thing. My experience was pretty consistent that the next day was the cycle that was lower. I would've thought that was a sign of iaa, because we know that in iaa kitties the R can last longer than 4 hours, but punkin's iaa test was just 7%.

So curious minds will be looking to see if there is a blue Hyde tomorrow!
 
Neko's a later onset/later nadir for R and it lasts later than 4 hours, although I think her IAA is done and dusted. It was 52% at one point. She nadirs late for Lev/Lantus too. I don't see much effect in the following cycle. ECID.

Paws crossed for more blue tomorrow.
