12/22 Chanel AMPS 188 PMPS 156 BG Curve - tomorrow new dose increase

Very nice start today! 7th day too...sometimes it just takes a while to get 'em going in the right direction. I hope this is that time for Chanel :)

Have a great day Laura!

Thank you Sue, she is a mischievous one. If she can play me, oh she will. But I hope it is like you said. It takes a while to get back on the right path. I see Luci is playing colors with you. Tell her to stop thinking she is a rainbow and leave the pinkies and the lemons behind :kiss::bighug:.
Have a great day and kisses and hugs to Luci :kiss::kiss::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I will pass along your affections for Miss Luci - she's taken to her queenly position on the guest room bed - it's a king sized bed and she plops herself right in the middle of it as if to say 'This shall be my chambers for the early morning nap period' 'Please do not disturb my slumber' - in her most aloof queenly voice...:cat::cat:while I slave away over assorted chores to make sure the Queen has everything up to snuff; litter box cleaning, sorting/labeling her foods, making sure supplies are adequate for upcoming week (syringes, lancets, etc.) make sure the testing towel and sock are clean .... you know my list goes on an on...

Ya'll have a good day too...I'm surprised she allows me to sit and have my coffee and read the paper on Sundays..much less this computer stuff... LOL!:p

Does she still have the cast on? I mean, hey if she does, she needs to rest. If she does not, how can you ask her to help you with the chores, she has the most difficult of all: keeping her beautiful looks in order. That is a really great responsibility and they are so wonderful at it.
At the present moment Chanel is in the closet, it is time for me to change the sheets so she is waiting and maybe taking a nap. I am not using a sock, she does not like the heat, we just get smoochie and scratch her behind ears and the head combined with a full body massage until she purrs like a percolator. The Alpha Trak needs only a blood sample of 0.3 microliters instead of 0.5 like the human ones. So, we get that little sample fairly quickly and actually now the lancet device I am using is set on 5 (max being 7) and I think I can actually go for 4. I tried it on myself and it is more like an annoying pinch :)
Chanel does not allow electronics in bed, but she likes to watch Halo on Netflix and falls asleep while watching it...must be very interesting LOL

Yes, she's still sporting her cast - she runs with it, it's quite the sight! I can hear her thumping whenever she walks...thump, thump, thump...she doesn't seem to mind it a bit now...I have to wonder how she'll be able to walk at all once it's removed (Jan 6 is the scheduled day now)..

I don't use the lancet device - easier for me to see the edge of her ear if I free hand it. I'm very pleased with the size of the drop for the OneDrop meter - it's also pretty small - smaller than the Relion Prime IMHO...

Glad you're getting good samples.

Have a great evening you two!

Pretty blue day today except one stranded lemon :). I will continue to test so I can make sure Chanel is safe, but the values until now require a .25 increase.

i am on the west coast, will be on and off the board for a while yet. Santa's baking and candy making in full force.

@Wendy&Neko the BG is 204, which means I have to test again in 2 hours, right? I gave her some pumpkin since she did not have a BM today.

Hey Santa, you are hard at work :) (pictures maybe?:). I am also flatten out after an entire day of cooking, cleaning and I did not even started :(. Tomorrow, more things to do :)

If the +2 is higher than preshot, it means it will be a quiet night. You can test again before bed or it you are still up in a couple hours, but she should be safe tonight.

Yay, that is great. She sleeps belly up now and did not want to wake her up. Thank you so much.
Tomorrow we start 1.5U :)
How is the candy manufacturing going?

Slow, DH is hogging the kitchen for his cookies.
I bet the house smells WONDERFUL!!! This is the best time of the year for making sweets, I cannot wait to make mine tomorrow. The sweet bread I will make it on 24th when we set up the tree. Hopefully Chanel will want to be in the picture :)
Thank you so much Wendy for the advice and for being patient in mentoring me in dealing with Chanel's diabetes. I got a little worried when I saw that from pink she jumped directly in the blues. Not that I would not be happy, just that she was so sleepy and sluggish that you would think she prefers to have hyperglycemia :(

Cats get used to high numbers. Think of blood sugar like caffeine, how would you feel if you suddenly cut back?
