Today I shot Sushi's PMPS 67.

He dipped down 45 at +2 but rose to 77 at +2.5 after he ate 2 spoonfuls of HC plus LC food.

Hi, good to see you again!
Well done shooting the 67, that was great. When you shoot a low number like that, always get a +1 to see what is happening. You did well getting the +2 though and giving the HC food when the BSL was 45. Always test after 20 minutes when you get a low number like that as you need to make sure that he is not still dropping.
Sushi has earned a reduction in dose back down to 1 unit.
I can see looking at the SS he is still doing a lot of bouncing after the green numbers. Don't worry about that though, it is normal and he will eventually settle down. Just stay with the same dose unless he drops under 50, in which case you reduce the dose......or if he goes 6 or more cycles without dropping to greens, then you can increase. If you are unsure, post and ask. We are always happy to help
It looks like your SS has gone a bit wonky today with large spaces between the days

With that 50 at +2 I would give some higher carb food and test again in 30 mins as you are very early in the cycle and the insulin is only just starting to kick in. You may have to feed higher carb food throughout most of the cycle to keep him safe. Test every hour at this point

I’d give Sushi some low carb food now to see if you can get him to surf in green numbers. If it drops lower at +3 I would give him a teaspoon or 2 of higher carb as it’s early in the cycle. He’s looking great!
