3 consecutive cycles with no bounce! Will Kay break her record and make it 4? Stay tuned to find out!

Questions:
What does it take for a sugarkitty to be "officially" regulated?
What does WCR mean?
What are 'vines'? Like healing 'vibes'?

Thanks for helping a newb out. :p

Best wishes, LL,
Mel & Kay

Hi Kay - paws crossed on the no bounce.

A WCR is a whole cat report. We also refer to the 5 P's (playing, purring, preening, peeing, pooping). Cats are more than their numbers and only you can tell us how the rest of her is doing.

Vines I believe was originally a typo for vibes, and it stuck.

There is a post somewhere describing the different levels of regulation (well regulated, tightly regulated, etc.) but not sure where it is in the new board.

What Julie said!

With regard to regulation, my thinking is this. The best form of "regulation" is a cat that is in remission and is regulated by diet alone. Beyond being OTJ, a cat is well regulated if numbers are below renal threshold (approx. 200) most of the time. A kitty is tightly regulated if insulin is keeping the kitty in normal BG numbers (50 - 120).
