[Wendy&Neko]

Yesterday

Today we remember Neko's Soul Sista. One year departed but probably not long before they will be getting into trouble together again. We miss you dear Gracie. (((Marje))).

Neko's spirit is strong, but her body not so much. When I saw her walking this morning, she had the real pot bellied look of a heart kitty. It seems worse, maybe it was the way I saw her. She's also a little wobbly in her hind legs. Her breathing still seems fine, no coughing. Appy was OK but not stellar when I left. DH is in charge while I spend the day quilting and trying to be distracted. Day by day.

Neko is a very bravo girl and loves her beans very much. We do too, she has the best beans a kitty could hope for. A strong spirit is a wonderful gift. Sending apply vines and lots of scritches.

DH got a purr out of her when he was warming her ear. That's the spirit girl!

There are 24 people here, so lots of company. One lady showed me the memorial quilt she made for her friends GA kitty using photo transfer to fabric. My eyes started tearing, but what a great idea.

Not much I can add to what's already been said.

Day by day. I tried not to get up in the morning thinking: "is it today?", but instead to think about being ready to just love her(or him) and give her/him what she/he needed, whatever that may be, and go to bed at night grateful for one more day.

You know you have a large family here, praying and sending vines and love.
