Happy New Years Eve !!! If your partying tonight, have fun, but be careful out there. I will watch the ball drop on TV.

Tomorrow will dosecrease. I knew 4 would not be enough, but she's all blue on it. For what ever reason I had to go back and look at her 2018 ss for something. Her highest was 9 units and so sick !!! Look at her now, not to shabby in my eyes.

It's been a rough year. 2 sibling deaths, husbands possibility of heart transplant, selling off dad's house in another state, dad's decline this past month, Ollie's bad bout of p'titis this time last year, PJs injured foot which she still favors.

On the good side, Ollie is feeling better, husband didn't need transplant, but his mental acuity is diminished, dad is still with us, PJ has become more friendly, I have a new kitchen, AND I STAYED SANE (although that's debatable). Such is life.

That’s a lot in one year, thank goodness there was so much positive too.

Picked up Ollie's meds/supplies from vet that I get. Dropped off tray of mini eclairs for them.

Husband chauffeured me cuz he wanted to get out. Took scenic route home. And we see miles of what looked like cable or ropes wrapped in and around acres of trees in both sides of the road. Can't be fencing because the intertwine and have gaps. They were 2 colors. So we get out and look. It's the tubing for tapping the maple trees. That's a lot of trees being tapped. It went on for miles.

so we get home and it's raining glass. Our trees have been coated in ice and the ice is falling off and looks likes pieces of glass falling from the sky.

WOW! I've never heard of 'tubing to tap the maple trees'! Must be the maple syrup capital of the world, huh? When does the taping start?

Sounds like you've had a heck of a year...lots of changes...I hope next year will be calmer for you!

Yes, sounds like you've had quite the year, but it's also admirable that you've highlighted positives in your life. :) Happy New Year!
