Previous Day

There was a bird in my garage today.
I'm not sure if that qualifies as a bad omen even if I were superstitious.
It was definitely bad for the bird since my female cat/huntress was stalking it and would have loved to have it for breakfast.
I opened the door wide and took my huntress in, so the bird flew the coop. :)

It's crazy how having a diabetic cat brings things to your mind like: I wonder how many carbs a bird would be. :banghead:

So today Bear is flat.
I have some help and more time this weekend so I think it is a good idea to increase Bear this PM by .25 since I reduced for his safety when I knew I couldn't monitor him adequately.
What do you guys think?
Any thoughts?

@Wendy&Neko since you are current with Bear's dosing, do you see any reason why I shouldn't?

The only caveat would be to try to avoid a bounce breaking cycle. Lately he seems to see green, then bounce for two cycles, then see green again. Which would put him on schedule for a bounce breaker tomorrow. Not that cats like to be predictable.

I thought the Green BG numbers on the 30th & 31st were an after effect of the .5 increase and that the depot for those days are gone or diminished since he is so flat?
Again this was just speculation on my part.
I have no problem waiting to increase. :)

I am all in to avoid a bounce.

His bouncing has seemed less severe and with less duration.
I take this as a very positive sign that he is improving and 9 hours below the renal thresh hold still amazes me. :D

I don't know if you need to wait to increase, but just watch for him going higher, then coming down. So if tomorrow morning's AMPS is considerably lower than tonight's PMPS, you might wait a cycle for an increase.

Okay, Will do.
Thank you Wendy your help and your advice is always appreciated!
Please keep in mind I consider myself a student of life and I am always trying to learn more within parameters that effect me.
My speculations that I share majority of the time I figure they are (wrong) due to my lack of knowledge and experience.
I am not trying to debate with you, only learn from you.
I was always the student who raised their hand with questions and I'm sure caused some to sigh and roll their eyes. :banghead:
