Yesterday's Condo

I thought we were headed for the lagoon again this morning, after that AMPS, but Cinco seems perfectly happy relaxing on shore. Not gonna complain. Blue surfs are good.

I took Minka her breakfast this morning with not a lot of hope, and to my amazement she put her face in the plate and ATE EVERY BITE!

It was Friskies SD T&G, which she's never been that crazy about. AND it was before I gave her the Ond/Pepcid gelcap! :):):) Maybe the AB is finally kicking in and she's feeling better. @Amy&TrixieCat , I've never had a kitty have a problem with Clavamox, and it's my regular vet's go-to AB, so they've all had it multiple times. I really think it was the UTI that was making her so uncomfortable.

Proving that Murphy really was an optimist, Sasha didn't feel well this morning. She poked her head out of the covers when I offered her food, took two licks, and crawled back under the covers. I gave her some Cerenia, which seems to work better for her than Ondansetron. If she doesn't eat her breakfast soon I'll try another flavor to see if it tempts her. It's always something.

Harvey is on final countdown to freedom, and I swear he knows it. He's been sitting in the same spot, next to his food bowl and the door of the cage, all morning, giving these hopeful little meows. I still can't believe I haven't heard the full-on howling I hear when he's in the carrier. He had a small hairball sometime overnight, which is very unusual for him. Nothing wrong with his appetite this morning, though.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. The weather is gorgeous here. I wish I could trade it with some of you in the East and Midwest - I feel cheated out of my winter! I brought in my first daffodil last night and put it in a vase on the table - in January!!!!

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF & DH, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.

Hi Tricia,
Cinco's numbers today might not be green, but they are a very respectable blue, and he may get to the lagoon yet, this afternoon.
Vines for Sasha, kudos to Minka, and a wait that's not too long for Harvey!
Daffodils in February? How lovely. I saw a flock of Redpolls today. They winter in our area before heading to the Arctic.

Have a fine evening. Are you Superbowling??

Ella & Rusty

Hi @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) ! No, we aren't football fans. I used to watch it for the commercials, but you can see them online now. If we are home, it's usually on, so DH can get the gist and discuss it intelligently with his co-workers, but we don't make it a point to watch.

The Cerenia did it's magic with Sasha and she ate her breakfast finally, with a little help from Forti Flora and "cookies". Minka had a small snack a little while ago, and my DH just told me she had a snack when he did Cinco's shot this morning! Where's that dancing cat icon when you need it???? :)

YEAH for Forti Flora and "cookies"!!

It might not be green, but it's still a blu-tiful cycle

So when does Harvey get sprung? 2 minutes after midnight?...LOL

Looks like a nice, easy cycle for Cinco to me! I'm glad both Minka and Sasha are eating better now. You're so lucky that Minka doesn't have a problem with clavamox...I see so many kitties here struggle with it, and my Petey did horribly after just one dose. We discontinued it and the vet gave him a shot of penicillin instead.

Have a great evening, Tricia...keep eating, kitties!

Nice blues for Cinco. Yay for Sasha and Minka eating. Sorry about Harvey's hairball. I'm glad he has a good appy.

Looks like someone wants to take a moonlight swim tonight. :D Not complaining! I have enough adult beverages to last me all night.

@Chris & China, I plan on letting Harvey out in the morning after breakfast, assuming his incision still looks good.

Minka did not eat her dinner, but I offered an alternative selection and she has been nibbling at it all night. Not perfect, but I'll take it.

Sasha is also nibbling at her dinner. Harvey, of course, is inhaling everything I give him.

That threat you gave him the other day really worked!! Time to come up Cinco. The deep end is pretty crowded right now. :D:D

I bet Harvey will be so happy to be able to roam again.

Whoa Cinco! You swam right out past the party spot in the Lagoon! Turn it around and come back a little closer to shore. :D
