Hi Everyone,

We had a fabulous snowstorm and this morning a small group of us braved the bad roads and went skiing at the VIC (Visitors' Interpretative Center) in Paul Smiths. There was over a foot of new snow on top of what was already there and we had to break trail because the VIC isn't open on Mondays and the trails hadn't been groomed. We had a great time. Here's a pic of the Barnum Brook under the new snow (you can't see the water, but it is still moving).

Rusty and Edward had a good day. Rusty watched the snow fall from his perch above the radiator. Edward did some yoga, shoveled the walkway, walked to the post office, and listened to Wagner.

Wishing you all a good evening and sending vines to all in need.

bbl,

well, we didn't get as much as you did....but at least it snowed.

so afraid our downhill skiing was about to end.... waiting to find out if it goes a little longer. ( i hope, i hope, i hope)

I can see the outline of where the brook is....
very pretty.

Scritches to the Radiator Man.... surveying his kingdom....

Rusty, I like to watch snow fall, too! Although I've never done it perched on a radiator, I'm sure that is a very good vantage point.

Nice numbers today, too.

I'm glad you enjoyed your ski today, Ella. I know you were sorry to miss the last outing. I hope you have more such days ahead.
