Happy Caturday L&L!
I have a feeling he may be bouncing a little. I did a modified curve yesterday (couldn't get the +10 cause of work obligations), but he'd come down more than 100 points by +6. Last nite at PMPS he was 266 and by +3 he was 248, so he may have even hit blue last nite if his PM cycle was anything like the AM cycle.
I was so exhausted last nite that I fell asleep on the couch before +3. My son woke me up and told me to go to bed and when I said I still had to test Flame, he offered to do it, so I could get some sleep. I love my son!! I must've really looked like crap for him to do that because, while he'll test Flame for me if I ask him and he has to, he really doesn't like doing it. But he did, bless his heart!!
I have to be out for part of the morning and then again in the afternoon. This morning, my dad and I are going to choose a headstone for mom's grave. My dad is mostly blind, so he can't really see, so this decision will mostly be me choosing something. I'm not really looking forward to this. This afternoon, I have an appt with Flame's vet for acupuncture. I'll get some tests in as I can today.
Flame seems to be doing OK. Thank goodness, his breathing has been stable. Today is the LAST dose of Pred!
His appy has been good (he was REALLY hungry yesterday) and he's been eating the food with the binder now with not too much of an issue. I've been working him up to the full dose this week. I also added 1/2 cap of Methyl-B12 to his food last nite and 1/2 cap this morning. I got the Vitacost ones (500 mcg) were recommended from Tanya's site and it was recommended to split the dose between morning and evening meals. So far, he's eating his food with all this stuff in it, including Cosequin.
Also going to talk to the vet today about when we should repeat blood work so we can keep an eye on his levels and see if any of this stuff is helping. Praying that it is!!
Have a good Caturday all! Vines and prayers for all in need this day. Kitties... behave yourselves!!

. Perhaps he's reacting to the meds and supplements? In any event, I don't think this is cause for alarm. It is normal for numbers to rise before onset. Try to get some tests in today and see what he does.
