Yesterday's condo
Seriously, Walter, what is this all about? How can you hang out in pink all day yesterday and then splash around with the sharks the next morning?
When I saw yesterday's +4, I figured I must have given him at least a partial FS (even though it didn't feel like I did and I didn't smell any Insulin). He was still in pink by the time his PMPS rolled around and I thought it would be safe to catch up on my sleep. I didn't even bother to test him when I got up to feed a snack.
Well, it is what it is. With him being in the 40s, I decided to feed and skip the shot. He'll get a reduced dose of 1.25 u tonight. Hopefully, that also means that I will get to enjoy the lovely weather. It's in the high 60s which is basically unheard of for February.
I just wish that I knew what to do about Lenny's ruptured disc. I had a long and depressing conversation with the neurologist yesterday. He is still recommending surgery as the best option. Lenny has definitely improved, but not as dramatically as we had hoped. It is just about killing me to leave him at home in a crate while I take the other dogs hiking... and I can't even imagine that he might never be able to join us again. I want him to have the best chance to recover... but the surgery comes with its own risks of course.

Glad you get to enjoy the weather and get a good sleep tonight hopefully.
