Just checking in-- another adorable profile pic! She is such a sweetie! Hope she's doing well today and that the vomiting (stress?) has calmed down some.
Yes @Nan & Amber the stress has calmed and I believe the onisor has helped her this weekend. The adequan should be here by tues or wed, excited to give that a try. Hopefully it will help as well since the onisor can only be given for 3 days. If your still on I am going to leave 2 different foods tonight, lc and the young again. Is it better to give her the lc then ya, or ya then low carb?

@Squalliesmom @Noah & me @jayla-n-Drevon

I think you will be very pleased with adequan.... it has been fantastic for my seniors....
as far as the food.... I am not a expert but I can tell you the wet will get in the system faster and the dry will stay longer....my thought is the wet first then the dry if your worried about going too low.
Are you feeding YA because is a dry addict? Any chance freeze dried would work?
I only suggest because YA is very high calorie (unless your kitty is skinny)

this is my 19 year old who has been on adequan for quite some time....from the cat tree to the loft :)

Yes that gives me so much hope!! My girl is under 12 pounds. She was a 21 pounder a couple years ago. I was just looking for something to put in feeder other than wet lc for morning feeding. I just put out in a tablespoon. It's the free sample they sent me.

I agree wet is more species appropriate but if your doing slow regulAtion and trying to add a few pounds a little YA in my non expert view would be ok.
If given the choice LC wet always wins but I still think freeze dried is a good option too :)
I would like Dre to lose a few pounds. :oops:
I put the freeze dried in vita mixer and put in auto feeder. :bighug: No pukis if you grind it into fairy dust :smuggrin:

So you feed it dry? No liquid?

HI!
Yes I just crumble it up or if it is a harder freeze dried I put it in the vita mixer so they don't puke it. The favorite is pure bites chicken mixed with wild side salmon treats together .... the Momentum pork tenderloin is a big hit as well as the turkey nibblets..... vitals essentials has a good FD chicken patty that is softer than most.
Bonito flakes are good but the stink really bad.

Excellent info will look into that then.
