It may be worth a try... idk if he'd like it too much haha. I will havd to figure out what size he'd really need since he large. (I know you know... maine coon blood.)Another member here bought a ThunderShirt for her kitties with aggression/anxiety and felt it helped https://www.chewy.com/thundershirt-anxiety-calming/dp/41116
Good to know with the Lantus. I don't think its the case here for him right now since he was fine prior to move. But it could be something to consider. It was @Shelly and Spaceman who used it but she's really not on much. Think she also ended up with kitty Prozac
FWIW, some kitties can be aggressive/ cranky on Lantus. Sure it's probably just the move but some are calmer on Levemir
Good luck
i know it does help, but less meds the better. No reason to wait until the bounce is over. It's fine to increase during a bounce, you just don't want to time the increase to the same cycle as that when the bounce is breaking. It's been 12 days since he last saw green. I expect some glucose toxicity is setting in - time to increase. BTW, how a kitty did before on a dose, is not indicator of how they'll do this time. We also don't really look at data older than two weeks, as it's not so relevant as what is needed now. Cat's insulin needs can change over time. This is.the 7th cycle on this dose, but aince he is still bouncing some, I'll probably hold it a tad longer. I was getting greens on 3.5u before.
