We're Back! I've spent the morning trying to catch up a little on what's been going on with everyone, but I had to call a halt so I could get this posted and get moving on all the stuff I need to do around here (unpacking, laundry, cat boxes, etc.). I'll try to do more visiting tonight.
So everyone survived their stay at Dawn's. She thought she got a fur shot Friday night, but I'm not so sure. I do think she got one last night, as Cinco reeked of Lantus and his numbers are downright ugly. The 337 is probably partially because of how upset he gets in the carrier on the 1 hour ride home. He got his current dose, 1.25 this morning. I'm hoping today's run of yellows are caused by the shed refilling and don't portend a dive tonight.... Cinco, it's Monday!!!!! Mama's been two weeks without her garlic pretzel bites. You don't want to see me have to miss them again, do you? Do you?? It won't be pretty!

I sent a couple of extra shirts for Sasha, but didn't send one for Cinco. I guess Dawn thought he needed a change, so she managed to get this on one him:
It's a hoodie. Fits better than I thought. Kinda cute.
Harvey has the distinction of being the most difficult to pill of any cat Dawn's ever dealt with!
She had a cat sack, and had to use it, as he was still not eating his pill pockets. I had the same problem this morning, although he ate one pill pocket. The second one, he ate the pocket and left the pill three times, so out came the cat sack! His appy remains stellar.
Minka ate well on Friday night and Saturday, but she threw up twice yesterday afternoon.
Dawn gave her a second dose of Ond. She didn't want to eat after we got home and I gave her some Cerenia. This morning, after her tummy meds, she ate about 2/3 of a jar of baby food, but didn't want any cat food. I'll keep trying to get her to eat more, but there may be a syringe or two in her future.
Sasha didn't cause any problems, but her appy is at half staff. Not sure what that's about. I don't think her tummy's upset, as she wolfed down four of her treats without hesitation. I guess I need to open another flavor of FF!
We had fun in Reno. Mark and his dad didn't get to ski Saturday because they had white out conditions, but they spent the day together, which is the main thing. We had a yummy dinner at my favorite steak house. Yesterday they got some good runs, although visibility was still not great. Mark was sore by the end, as he hasn't skied (or done much physical activity at all) since last year.
So I'm off to try to make a dent in the chores around here. Hope everyone is having a good Monday.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM. Special vines to Skooter & Molly.
