Very encouraging update on Lenny today: He got up this morning and was standing on 4 legs - so he is able to use all of his limbs. :joyful: I was super happy to hear that. ...but then he almost gave the poor tech a heart attack when he lifted his leg to pee. He might have just had a major surgery yesterday, but my stubborn little boy just likes to do things his way. I guess I should be thankful that he didn't try to kick up some dirt afterwards.

At this point, he is still on IV meds - so his pain is well controlled. They will transition him to oral pain meds tomorrow. I am just so relieved that everything is going well. Thank you so much for all of the vines and prayers!

Not much new here at home. Another long volunteer shift this morning. The puppies at the shelter are now 6.5 weeks old and are starting to eat puppy food (even though they still prefer mom). They are all super cute... and have very sharp little puppy teeth.

Walter is doing better on the 1.5 U, but judging by his impressive bounce yesterday, I am afraid that he might have dropped a bit too low while I was at work.

And here's a picture of our puppies:

I'm so glad your boy was trying to show the vet techs who's boss! So proud of him for standing and lifting a leg! And I'm sure that's a huge sigh of relief that all his legs are working properly.

The puppies are super adorable. Fat squishy cuddly little pups!

Walter, relax in the shallow end. No need to compete for attention right now. Mama bean is exhausted and needs a couple of nights of deep sleep.

Love the Lenny report. Vines still flowing for continued improvement. :bighug: Surf safe tonightnWalter, da bean needs sleep.

Great puppy pic. One of my favourite shelter volunteer jobs was socializing with a pile of puppies. :joyful::joyful::kiss:

I'm so happy to read the update on Lenny! Sounds like there's nothing wrong with his spirit! :woot:

Walter, since we know you can do blue, why don't you do it all day long? Just keep it safe and sane at night, please, and let the bean rest.

I'm guessing there is puppy food somewhere in the middle of that puppy wheel, since I think we'd see some part of Mama if it were she that they've all converged upon
. :joyful:

Sending loads of healing vines for Lenny.
