3/21 Noodle AMPS 291 +2 339 PETSITTER ISSUE

She threw me her first number in the 30s last night, so you can imagine how well I slept after she came up. Then, Moms first test this morning was a 45 o_O! I retested and got a 291 which makes so much more sense. I had her shoot .5u because that 35 scared my pants off. And yes, I had HER shoot! Successful TFS from Grandmabean this morning! Testing is a little hairy, but she got one! Vines to all in need, have a great day LL!
 
It's good that you got the odd test because now your mom knows she made need to test more than once. I've done three several times lately as a tiebreaker. Have a great day!

A 35?!?!?!? Noodle McDoodle what are you trying to do?! Remember as soon as you go under 50, you get your reduction, no need to show off how low you can go!

Does your mom have your account information for the boards and know how to access it if she needs some help or support while you are gone?
 
Noodle. You're sure making the grammabean work pretty hard at this kitty sitting stuff. Be careful; gramma's are in charge of spoiling. Don't want to mess with that dynamic.

So Mom couldn't get enough blood tonight at PMPS. Noodle dealt at first but is now verrryy angry. I told her to go ahead and put food down, but to call me in a half hour to see if she wants to try again. I got a +2 of 339 today before I left, so I doubt she dropped fast on a half dose, but I'm tempted to tell her to take the night off if testing is so difficult. Last night makes me want to err on the side of a "fur shot" tonight especially if she can't get tests easily. Thoughts?

She's still hiding and not interested in her food yet, still very stressed. Mom is feeling terrible, so I'm letting her call it a fur shot tonight. I just don't feel right asking her to chase her down and poke more tonight.

I do think she could give .5U tomorrow morning even if she can't get AMPS, thoughts?

I think you are fine with a .5u in the morning, even if she can't get a test in, especially with the skip tonight.

How is the race going?

Thanks for the confirmation!

I'm trying to relax in bed, hydrating and going over the course map and my race plan for the zillionth time (sample: "wait-I have to start how fast? for how long? ack."). I'm full of nervous energy that I just need to ride for the next, oh, 14.5 hours. Thanks for asking! :)
 
Oh, poor grandmabean and poor Noodle! Stressful t/f/s is no way to start this party! I'm sure all will look better in the morning. You know, we let Cinco start eating as we are testing, so he is distracted and doesn't notice the poke. She is warming the ear first, isn't she? And massaging it gently? Sending calming and good testing vines!
