Pollywood's doing well today. Miss FluffBottom has been window sill slouching, tipping over cardboard hidey boxes, napping comfortably on the bed, and yowling for food every now and then.

Little bugger just came out to see me with tell-tale crumbs on her mouth. Yup, I forgot to pick up her mid afternoon snack plate and she decided to take care of the leftovers. One hour before t/f/s. So, thought I'd poke a +11 in case PMPS is influenced by the unplanned gobble. The price you pay, Polly, for being sneaky.

The Boomtown Boy is pretty pathetic today. Understandable. I think the Bupe (0.10 of a 0.30 mg/ml, oral) is causing lots of restlessness. If he isn't sleeping, which I'm glad he's doing for long periods, he's walking laps around the house. Over and over and over again. He'll settle for less than a minute and then the laps start again. I have an e-mail out to his vet; awaiting a reply. Eating fairly well, though.

Thank you all for your kind words, encouragement, and wisdom yesterday. My heart (what little there is of it!) is full.

@Deanna & Billie. Probably not eosinophilic granulomas, although that would be great! Vets at the sanctuary clinic see lots of "rodent ulcer" and I've got a cat at work with that condition. Boomer's tear didn't fit the visual criteria. Still???? Thanks for the thought.

Vines and wishes.

Sneaky Polly getting the last bits of food. At least she is feeling good. Sending more healing vines for Boomer. Hope everything is alright with him.

Uh Oh Marilyn, I think I see a PJ party in your future!:cool: Whatcha doing Polly, huh??

:bighug::bighug::bighug:Sending tons and truckloads of healing vines for Boomer- I seem to recall Darin's Charley had a strange, little known reaction to bupe after a dental, it caused aggitation or something or other? So glad to hear he's eating though, that's a good sign! I hope he feels better soon, poor sweetie!

Hey Polly!! You got plans to go visit Cinco, Max and Skooter in the lagoon tonight??

Maybe you can swing by and pick up China on the way so you girls can stick together!

Sending more vines for Boomer and some extra special "good vetty report" vines too.

More vines for Boomer and more encouragement for Polly to have good numbers tonight (not influenced by food).
Marilyn, I hope that Boomer will settle down. It might very well be a reaction to the bupe; maybe he got too large a dose? I hope the vet can set your mind at ease.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Way to go on the crumbs Polly! ~Neko

Nice start tonight, maybe a solid blue surf?

Vines for Mr. Boomer. His bupe dose isn't that large. So hard to say if it's too much or too little. Wish these guys would talk.

Polly is looking good. I'm glad the late snack didn't raise her BG. Poor Boomer. I wonder if he's getting too much bupe. Some cats need a really low dose. I hope the vet gets back with you today. Sending prayers and hugs. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Well snuck Miss FluffBottom - bet you scored an extra treat for that extra test too - very sneaky indeed!

Sending more vines for your boom town boy. That seems like a small dose of Bupe Vyktor was having it 3 ml (or .3 ml perhaps - 3 was in there!) per dose and he was clearly still in pain while he was eating. Pacing around can be a pain indicator too so maybe he needs a little more? I'd rather have him sleeping through as much of his recovery as possible too!

I don't have a lot of experience with Bupe, so no advice from me. Pacing sounds like pain, though. Poor Boomer. Sending him tons of healing and pain relief vines. Glad he's eating.

Miss Polly, it was so nice of you and Max to keep Cinco company in the grotto tonight while China frolicked in the lagoon with Rusty and Sammy. Perhaps you'll join him for a swim tomorrow?
