    Back to green at least for a brief visit today. :D

    Yesterday @Stacy & Asia asked for a baby quilt photo. I wanted to make it for my niece who is having her first baby next month. I picked this pattern because she is decorating the nursery with elephants and an aqua color.

    Many thanks to @Alicia & Maggie (GA) for encouraging me early on. This is the first quilt I have ever made. I didn't finish it in time for the baby shower, and I got discouraged a few times, but I knew I couldn't quit because she said such nice things when I mentioned I was making it.

    Thanks for sharing! That is adorable! I bet she will treasure that quilt. I'm glad you didn't get too discouraged and stop, it turned out so nice and what a keepsake. :)

    Kudos to you to keep on with the quilt until you finished it. It is really neat and I'm sure your niece will treasure it (and your grand niece will enjoy sleeping under it).

    That definitely isn't a "beginner" quilt. Well done! It will bring lots of good memories.

    Beautiful quilt. Your niece will treasure it, as will her baby.

    Meanwhile, Rosie, so nice to see so much blue, with some green, on your SS! Lets try to change the ratio to more green than blue, okay?
