Hello-
Continued upset as Maxi doesn't seem to feel well. I can see it in his face.
Also, he's becoming more reluctant to get his shots. His 6 units of Lantus ended up as a partial fur shot this morning. I know I got most of it in. His 1 unit of R got in except for 1 tiny drop.
Until now I've given the shots while he's eating without restraining him. I'll have to start restraining him.
I've read about osteo problems in cats with acromegaly. Maxi's arm bone clicks a lot. Worrying.
The more time goes on without bringing Maxi's numbers down, the more symptomatic he becomes, the more the shots hurt him, the more I read about how bad acromegaly is, the more scared and sad I get.
I'm very thankful his appetite is still good.
