4/10 Moe: AMPS=285;+3=296;+6=352;+9=347;PMPS=330

Flat yellows sometimes mean that a drop is in the near future. No guarantees, but that's what I was told along the way. Sometimes it worked that way, sometimes not. Are you considering an increase if he doesn't get a green today?

I think I will hold him at 3.5 units for the next few days. He’s scheduled Monday for dental and surgery for the mass on his lip. I’d like him to be steady for a while going into that.

I'm so sorry Erin, poor Moe. Is there any way you could get him in earlier? Emergency?
It looks inflamed to me, but it doesn’t seem to bother him too much. He’s laying on his side with that part of his face directly on the floor. It’s a little awkward eating, though. I gave home some of the Tiki mousse and he enjoyed that. If it looks really worse tomorrow I’ll call the vet again. I’m just a worried mama. He’s had so many health issues over the years, poor old guy.

I wonder if that mass on his lip is a cyst? Sometimes a cyst will get angry and inflamed prior to bursting. Has he had a biopsy on the mass previously?
No, it is new; I just noticed it two days ago on 4/8. I am hoping it is a cyst or an abscess. Vet will look at it on Monday, and determine what it might be and remove it, and send samples for testing. It just popped up so fast out of nowhere. It’s weird. It doesn’t really seem to bother him. He was using his paw to clean his face on that side and wasn’t flinching or avoiding the area.
