Overall, I can't complain though! Wasn't real happy when I grabbed that +6 since I knew I had to be gone most of the afternoon....Was hoping I'd make it back a little sooner, but between DM's doctor appointment, taking her shopping (which always takes longer than if I just do it myself) and then down to see "the tax man" ...then back to her apartment to put groceries away and fill her pill box for the next week!
I have a serious TIRED tonight!! Hope China has a nice safe surf tonight!
Why do they always drop when you prefer they not? I know how that shopping goes. Back when my mom was up to it and I was working I would take her every Sunday and do my grocery shopping too. I would circle and circle the store waiting for her to put anything in her cart. I would be done and she would have three things. Sometimes I would load mine in the car and go back to help her. Then she would say she was done which she wasn't. As frustrating as it was I now long for those days. You are a wonderful daughter. It isn't easy.
Elise...the biggest problem I have with mom is she gets lost in WalMart...We both use those electric carts and sometimes I'll run ahead to get some of the things on her list that are far back in the store and I'll tell her to just go up and down the aisles and I'll meet back up with her. Then she gets turned around and doesn't know which way she's going and the hunt is on.

When I was helping out my Auntie Elsie with grocery shopping she always would buy canned peaches. When she moved to a senior residence we went through her cupboards and found about 50 cans of peaches!
Ooh China - I see an under 40 there! Congrats on the reduction! Lots and lots of lovely green but why don't you just come back up a little now and let your mama get some sleep?
Hope China listens to you and behaves. My mum used to be the same when we went shopping together, I was always rushing around and mum would just take her time, boy, do I miss it now she's gone. to all our mums.
