blah. I messed up.
slept thru shot time this morning. I was up. went btb, set the alarm and it rang, and i turned it off and kept
on sleeping.

I'm messing up a lot.

I did sleep on couch last night. Shadow hung out.... and sat on me several times.
But she wasn't happy with her food.
She's starting to not want her raw chicken or rabbit with shrimp. And of course, tries to eat only the shrimp.
I'm blending it as best I can.

I gave her some ondansetron and cyprohetadine to see if it would nudge her. She wants food....
but not what I offer.
She doesn't want canned food either.

I keep adding freeze dried meats and even cheese ..... and she eats that off the top.... getting a little.
I'm certain she's losing weight and I will try weighing myself and then her to see where she is.

I wish you could find a shrimp flavoured oil that you could marinate the rabbit in!

Slept through the alarm? Check. Set it to go off as PM instead of AM? Check. Left it on mute and didn't hear it? Check. Forgot to set it? Check. Said I'll get up in a minute and fallen back to sleep? Check. Yup - done all those, many times. You aren't alone in this club. In fact, most of us have done it many times.

I think I'm offering it morning, noon, mid day, and nighttime and even in the middle of the night if she gets me up.

Neko gets get on her preshots, +1 and +2 AM and PM and around +9 during the AM. Mostly it's historical. I started that way on Lantus to prevent drops. I've tried to move her meals around when she moved to Levemir, but she's stubborn about her food schedule. In fact, before she was Dx she pretty much got fed close to that schedule, including mini meals. The most I've been able to do is change the quantities at each meal time. The civie also gets multiple meals, but more like PS, +2 AM and PM and the AM+9. I find smaller meals of raw are easier on him. He barfs if he eats too much too close together. On Sunday when I left right after AMPS, he had his meals 20 minutes apart, and guess what I came home to end of day.

Don't be too hard on yourself about sleeping through shot time. We've all done things like that. I had Furball's syringe ready one day and got sidetracked and forgot to shoot. I found the syringe the next day.
