Congrats on Day 8!

Yesterday, I realized I hadn’t seen Gizmo for a bit. Then I heard him crying and thought he got shut in a closet only to find him sitting in the litter box. I realized he had gotten some poop and litter on his leg and figured he was to embarrassed to come out. He is a very clean kitty. Well, I just heard a soft meow again when I walked by the litter box. He is sitting in there again. When I tried to coax him out, he started purring, but didn’t want to come out. What’s up with this odd behavior?

Also, vet called with his recent blood work and his T4 numbers only down to 5. They want to increase his meds by 1/2 pill twice a day. So he will now be getting 3.75mg twice a day.
 
Ming would lay in the LB when constipated. Keep an eye on when he goes. Purring unfortunately may mean he’s uncomfortable . Does he have any history with constipation?

Asia does this sometimes too, outside of UTI or constipation, it could also be arthritis/pain/needing a break. It’s hard to figure out what it is exactly, you kind of have to rule out what you can and see what’s left. I hope you can figure it out and he stops doing this soon. :bighug:

I keep track of when he goes everyday. He actually has had diarrhea the past few days. Today is the first day it has been back to normal, but between the 2 kitties they went 3 times. When the vet checked him over on Friday morning, he said he wasn’t constipated. I don’t think he is constipated. I’m wondering more towards the infection since he is on AB for infection.
