Well, last month we tried to go from .25 to 0...too fast, so went back to .25 again for a month, got a week of greens, except for a food spike of 117 one AM. So, trying again and not looking good. Is he just not going to be able to get any lower than .25, do you think? He's been at .25 since 2/12. I'm feeding small meals now, not really FFing anymore, (when off work), which helps. We've been having some work done around the place, which gets him on edge, of course, so that may be a factor. (Now finished, thank goodness!) I'd like to wait a bit to see if he can come down, should I do that, is there a chance he'll be able to get to greens on 0.1?, go back to .25 again, or try something else?

Looks like he just needs some more time on 0.25 units again. This is unfortunately one of the times you'll really need patience. :bighug: The rest is up to Zeke.

So back up we go, I guess. How will I know that he just won’t ever make it? Is it true that after 10 moths or so they may never reach remission?

Never say never. It's easier in the first six months, but it can still happen.

More importantly, how is Zeke doing? Well, other than the workers of course.

You are right, that most important is how he is, which is great! He's happy, purring, playing ,and pooping like normal! Thanks for asking! ...and supporting us.:bighug: We're going to have a good weekend, I am off and we're going to spend a sunny couple of days out on the deck!

You're doing a great job...just keep counting those cycles and move up/down as needed...one of these days Zeke will just blow you away when he drops down to visit the sharks and he'll earn that decrease fair and square. It'll happen...hang in there and enjoy your deck this weekend!

One thought... You could "fatten" the dose. While it will be difficult to measure unless you have calipers, you could dose between 0.25 and 0.1u.

89 or above still leaves some room for an increase, maybe a fat 0.1.

I did see your post. It sounds like Wendy and I were thinking along the same lines. It's up to you if. you want to microcode now or hold for a few days.

I fattened the dose a tiny bit this AM. He was 139. We’ll see how he does this weekend. Fingers crossed.
