When I see all-day highs, my first thought is it's a bounce. Looking at his spreadsheet, it looks like he could've gotten into lower numbers last night and that caused a bounce today. I wouldn't be surprised, based upon his regular pm cycles of blues and greens, if he isn't lower this evening.
 
Cats have off days. I call it save a strip day. Paws crossed for tomorrow and better numbers.
 
A bounce occurs when a cat either dropped their blood sugar too fast or it dropped to a range lower than the body is used to. The liver perceives it as a hypo and releases hormones and sugars to counter the perceived hypo event. That sends the cat's blood sugar high. It can take as long as 3 days for that reaction to clear out. It can clear sooner.

During the bounce, Wrigley will be high, but it doesn't mean he needs more insulin. You just wait for it to clear.
 
Today was a busy day around here and thinking back, I might have forgot his PM shot. I remember shooting and feeding him in between doing other things, but I don't remember if I gave him the shot... I feel bad that I might have forgot. I really can't remember if I did or not.

On a positive note, he is putting on a little weight it seems. We weighed him on our normal scale which isn't super accurate. He was 10.2 pounds (up from 9.3 at one point). The vet says she should be around 12 or so.
 
Don't worry about it.

It happens. You're not the first. Just don't reshoot, just in case you did.

Make note of your uncertainty in the ss, though. You'll want to wait 6 cycles after tonight before doing any increase.
