Oren yesterday

With having to be at work all day and no chance to slip home, i had to leave some MC carb food added to his regular small LC meals for safety. That and the previous days blue/green all day (!!) cycles may have caused a moderate bounce, but I love that it didn't go zoom zoom. Back to a blue start this a.m, so hopefully we'll dip into the lagoon again later. I'm going to slip back to bed for another hr or so, as i have a big day of yardwork ahead of a rainy weekend. This time of year I can watch the grass grow, almost literally!

Happy Friday to all kitties and beans, we made it through another one, w/ Rosa OTJ and Panther right behind today I hope!!:woot:
 
wonder if the extra carbs yesterday might be carrying over into today? any one have opinions/info. on that? I only gave him MC 8% mixed into his lc (<=5%) , but for 4 small meals. Anyway, not horrible today, but no sign of green.
 
Nice to see the blues today, but what's up with that yellow Oren? I don't think it's the high carb if you fed HC wet food. That usually wears off after a couple of hours. One possibility is that he's having a bounce from the drop last night. He went from 310 at 3.25 to 207 at +5, which could have been over 50 pts an hour. Big drops/hr can also cause bounces.
 
well, blue and yellow DO make green... ;) Wonder if that's on the plan tonight?

Hope it's not a wild ride, I'm pretty pooped from mowing front and back yards, pruning the Japanese maples, spraying weeds and general cleanup of the yard. Spring is booming here, although it was a bit chilly today; 30s in the a.m, and struggled to get to 64 for a high. Coolest temps in a few wks. I don't mind, I am in no hurry for the big heat/humidity that is coming
