A nice day in Pollywood. Boomer now rests out under some desert bushes in the back yard, not far from Patch, Annie, Spike, and BudDog, the four companions that came with me from Wisconsin to Utah all those years ago. Now they're joined by my first Utah critter, the cat that came with the house. Comforting to know he's back in his yard where I first saw him over 13 years ago. Closure brings peace. For me, anyway.

Slept so hard last night that Polly's PM+6 test...well, I did it; it was on the meter. But I have no recollection of getting up, testing, and dishing up a small snack. Hmmm? This sleep testing is pretty cool!

Light rain today. Chilly. May forgo the dog's walk tonight. He doesn't give a rip about the weather. I do, though. And I hold the leash!

Polly gave me a drive-thru green when I got home from work. No clue what she'll do tonight. Always an adventure!!

You taking bets on Polly's cycle tonight? Maybe you'll get a chance to practice sleep testing again. Pretty green.:D
 
So there's the number on the meter I was looking for!!! I was looking on the wrong meter .....LOL

It's really handy that the meters keep track when our brains are on auto-pilot though. I had planned on getting another test last night on China but didn't remember doing it this morning....but a quick check of MY meter said I must have slept through it

I totally agree with you on the closure...it's right to have them back home where they belong
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet she either surfs blue or shows you more green. I'd narrow it down more but don't want to jinx her.

I'm glad Boomer is where he belongs and it gives you peaceful closure. :bighug:
 
So glad Boomer is back home and you have closure. At least you know he is not suffering.
Hear you on the sleep testing. Sometimes I wake up and just hate to get out of bed to test
but you do what you have to do. Even if you can't remember it.:):):)

Michael is with China at the lagoon and happy Polly is with them.

I shouldn't be smiling at your sleep-testing but I am! I woke up one morning and was sure I had tested Tiger at 3:30AM, but none of my 3 meters showed a test-apparently I dreamed the whole thing! :rolleyes::rolleyes: At least you did do a test! :smuggrin:
 
RIP Boomer. You will always be in your home. I'm glad that you now have closure, Marilyn. That means a lot.

Polly, that was a short dip in the lagoon. Coming back this evening?

I am so very sorry that Boomer crossed and I wasn't around to send my prayers and condolences. He was such a lucky boy to find you 14 years ago and to now be full circle. But so very sad and I know you miss him horribly. You were such a fantastic mom to him.

Pollydoodle doo had a great flat day yesterday and even some green today!! Woo hoo!!! I had to laugh at your sleep testing. Amazing how we get into a groove.

I hope you will have a restful weekend and take care of you. Biggest hugs.
 
Congratulations. Sleep testing means that you have been completely indoctrinated into the Sisterhood/Brotherhood of FD Beans. (Siblinghood?) I'm sure most of us that have a kitty that has been On The Juice for over a year has a story about testing and not remembering it. Thank goodness we have our meters to prove we are not hallucinating (except for Chris and Ruth).

A year? I was doing it within a couple of months. I'd wake up having a heart attack thinking I'd slept right through but the meter would say otherwise...

I'm glad you found a nice resting spot for Boomer :rb_icon::bighug:
