AMPS 73
Shot 5U. I have shot at 60 before
Test 37 @+3.25 fed hc with maple syrup
Retest 46 @+@3.50 fed another tsp of hc
Retest 63 @+3.75 fed another tsp of hc
Retest 66 @+4 fed tsp mc since he was rising
Retest 89 @ +4.50 fed tsp of lc
Will retest at +5.

Guess he'll go down to 4.75U for PM shot.
So how was your morning ?

+5 is 95. Definitely heading up.
Will retest at +6 also.

Didn't post when this all started 'cause I already knew what needed to be done.
Actually wondering if I should take his dose down to 4.5U instead of lowering to 4.75U.
Or am I getting ahead of myself ?

Hmmm... That's probably a Wendy question, so wait for her to weigh in with the final word, but if it were me, I'd go down by 0.5. You're near the border between 0.25U and 0.5U changes (0.5U is only 10% of the 5U dose), but with a number in the 30's, I'd be more conservative. You can always go back up, after all.

You think like I do. Can always go back up.
But I don't want to undo any progress already made.
Whether 4.75U or 4.5U this will be the 2nd decrease in 5 days.
So I'll be awaiting for an experienced person to come on board.

Yes on the increase, and I'd lean to 0.5 reduction. It's easier to go back up than fight a larger depot that is overfull.

Oh gosh, no need! I've been around for a while, but Wendy is far more experienced, especially when the doses start to get higher. I have no problem at all deferring in those situations-- I have opinions and even some observatory experience, but I want the kitty to get the best advice, full stop.
