4/30 Zeke AMPS 84 - Advice please: Drop or Trial ?

Hi,

Wishing everyone a great Fursday. Well after a nice run without insulin (not a trial, just a "wait and see") back in early April, we decided to give Zekey a reducie to 0.1u. He's done really well with that - only a few PS's above 100, but still under 120. We're just about at the one week in "normal numbers" milestone and I would like your opinion as to what we should do next. I don't want to rush to a trial - funny to say that after nearly 2 years on insulin - but if we could bypass the drop phase of dosing, I think all of us here would be pretty all right with that.

So, if Zeke were your kitty and you wanted to make sure to give him the best possible chance for a strong remission (anti-jinx), would you slap on those patience pants and go with a drop for a week - paws and fingers crossed he does well - and then actually do a trial?

Curious to see what the majority says.

I dropped Jack from .5 to OTJ and here we are back on insulin 2 years later. My vote go for the drop. However wait till the dosing folks weight in.

If he had been all green on 0.1, I'd say go for it, but I think I'm voting for one drop too cause of those low blues. He's still got a couple of cycles on 0.1 to go. Have you counted how many drops in your 0.1 dose? Regardless, I think he's really really close to a trial.
