Yeah for pinks! Now lets slide down gently Floyd so you don't have to go to outer space again. :cat:

So much for gentle! Fed his normal 1/2 patty and a chicken treat; testing again in 30 minutes.

Two bits of good news. He's back to green. :D And he cleared the bounce in 5 cycles, not 6.

93 @ +6 - do I keep feeding small bits, or wait and test again first?

Looks like he might have started surfing. You could probably wait an hour to test. You generally don't want to feed carbs after nadir, but a tsp or two of low carb can help them surf. You have to find out what works for Floyd. If Neko was just surfing greens, she might get a freeze dried treat at test time, but that's all she needed.

Thank you! He had a small chicken treat at testing time, so I'll wait and test again at +7.

:banghead: Is all I can say. Bouncing has got to be the hardest on the Bean and especially when he bounces as high as Floyd does.

Maybe he'll break this bounce in less cycles. Hang in there. :bighug:

Trying to be patient over here..... Today's pattern looks similar to 3/31, so maybe he'll break it tonight like he did then.

I think it's time to think about an increase to 4.75 units. He does have room for an increase, and a little more juice might help bring down the overall range of numbers.

I'm up for that. Tomorrow morning I'll go up to 4.75u. Plus we will have a talk about he is not the Easter Bunny, so no bouncing required.:joyful:

    Somebody hide the trampoline...

Good luck with the increase-fingers crossed he flattens out a bit.

Food for thought - you might consider a touch of R when you see him getting on the express elevator UP.
Think of it as placing a ceiling over how high a bounce may go; perhaps stopping him at the 3rd or 4th floor rather than him continuing to the rooftop terrace or beyond...

That makes sense using the R. How much is considered "a touch"?

That is very much an ECID thing. For some kitties 0.1u can send them into the cellar .

So the first step is experimenting to find out how your kitty reacts to R (onset, nadir, duration) starting with 0.1u.
Timing is very important - you want to shoot it as the bounce is beginning, making sure you have a 4-5 hour window and you can monitor every hour. If it is a non event, at the next opportunity you try .25u.
Care must be taken so that the R and L nadirs do not coincide and that you don't shoot R as a bounce is breaking.

We also recommend that you coordinate with someone who has R experience to hang out with you while you conduct your first few experiments.
