Well our Governor here in California, along with the national forests, have decided to extend the closure of campgrounds through the end of May at the least. DH and I were supposed to be going camping next weekend for Memorial Day, but the place we camp looks like it will be closed for the rest of the month so looks like we won’t be going out of town! I’m sure the kitties will be very happy.

Oh Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear that :( This darn COVID has certainly turned everyone's world upside down. I know how much you were looking forward to getting away...perhaps you can go hiking or do some other fun activity? Set up the camp in the backyard?

My son works for one of the parks/rec reservation services and he said it's chaos...with the governor of Michigan closing everything and then extending those closures, she's ruining a lot of plans for a lot of people and they're upset...and want to take it out on the reservationists...it's certainly not their fault but of course they have to be pleasant and make arrangements for refunds. He then ended up getting laid off ...so at the moment isn't doing that job at all...

But Blaze is looking fabulous again....tell him to call out for Luci...her numbers are all over the road today! She went on a shark chase!

Hang in there...hopefully something good will come out of all these cancellations...come see us at the beach! :)

Bummer on the vacation plans. Our provincial parks are just opening now, but for day use only at first. Given my parents are in their late 90's and highly vulnerable, I'm fine with a slow reopen. I like the ideas of a staycation, exploring the local area.

Blaze on the other hand, is a nice distraction!:D

Ya we’re bummed! They are opening hiking trails and parks for day use here as well, just no camp sites yet. I think Blaze is pretty happy I won’t be leaving him home for a weekend :p
