So cute Lori.

My Tuxie also purrs when he has his ear pokes. He comes to the mat..I get the meter, the lancet and the cotton pad ready and he lays down. I give him the plastic tip cover from the lancet and he puts his paw over it and purrs. He is simply anticipating his after test treat :D
 
Zeke purrs too during his tests - but only for me. DH must be all stressed or something when he tests. When DH is handling a test, Zeke runs in the opposite direction and then often times hisses at or tries to bite him during the tests. Poor DH. I feel so bad for him because he knows it's got to be him and not just the testing routine. I keep telling him it's because I give Zekey kisses afterwards. I get such a chuckle when DH tries to implement my technique. So far, Zeke ain't buying it. :facepalm:

Hope Lulu comes on down for you and spends some time in nice healing numbers.
 
Nice slide to blue today. How great on the purrs. Furball purrs during testing because I love on her so much before and after.
 
Love the purr during testing. Not here. Polly's grown tired of the poke after a year or so. She just puts up with it for the post stick snack.

When I test Sheba during the night and she is asleep in front of the fire, (spoilt!) she always purrs when I test her. She doesn't seem to feel it at all. She doesn't look for a treat either on those occasions. I think she is too comfy to move.
