All the usuals in place...happy appy, snuggles, feistiness, cuteness, bright-eyed girl, and anti-jinxes. Yesterday, Trix CPCed for the first time in over a year, when all heck broke less with her health. And not only did she CPC, but she CPCed three times
! She's been eating very, very well lately (anti-jinx to the max!!!!!) - much enthusiasm and enjoyment - but she hadn't quite been hitting CPC status. I was utterly amazed that she did it last night
! Again this morning, it was close-but-not-quite CPC, but now I've seen she can still do it, so fingers crossed it will become a regular event for her again!
Also....she's shifting into a "feisty about the gelcap" phase...ugh. So far it hasn't been TOO bad, but she is definitely in no mood to deal with the stupid gelcap. In fact, in another first last night, one of the times she spit it out she actually managed to pop it open and the pills went flying everywhere
. Fortunately she did not "taste" any of those pills, though. But she definitely is no fan of the gelcap right now. Hopefully this will be a short phase.
We're probably heading to the parade this morning (we're a very small town; the parade is very brief, and it's practically in our back yard), and then it's more powerwashing and pretty-ing up the outside of the house. This bean is very relieved to not be working today.
Have a great day, L&LL!
