All's good in Pollywood. A late night report yesterday. Early morning, today. Not much in between 'cept for some much needed sleep and nearby purring kitties.

As usual, if it's furry, it's sleeping right now. Fuzz next to me on the couch purring away in slumber. Rowsie, on the bed daring anyone else to come near. Polly? Her spot of choice is the window tote in the cat room. Great sun there in the morning. Used to be tons of finches hanging out in the sage that grew tall along the fence line on that side of the house, but a new neighbor brought in a big front end loader and ripped it all out. Sad. Looks so naked out there now. And poor Polly doesn't have her bird TV anymore.

More weed work today. Whacking what can be whacked, pulling what can't be whacked. Please, karma, let the weed whacker work!

Polly seems to be stuck in neutral lately. Getting itchy for a little dose bump up. But will hold steady for a bit. Usually when I get itchy finger, she makes a move. So. Move Miss P. Move. A little.

Hmm, Polly looks stuck in a log jam at the moment, hope the threat of a dose increase works and gets her to shift her furry britches.

Good luck fighting the weeds, I wish my plants would grow as fast as the weeds do.
 
Behave for Mommie Polly! Good luck with the weeds. I think I'm going to spray/kill my whole yard and start over. I was going to try a service this year to try and get it in shape, but with the cost to get Marshmellow healthy, the lawn is secondary. Just glad most my neighbors understand.
 
Good luck with the Weed Wacker. Hope Polly comes down for you. Probably be tonight when your all tired out from doing the lawn. Then she will want a PJ party. Usually how it works.LOL
 
Blues is not a bad place to be stuck. :cool: And I agree with Peg, might want a good nap this afternoon to prepare for tonight. :p

Good luck with the whacking! Bummer on the front end loader and the bushes with bird TV going out.
 
I like the flat blues, but down a little Polly for your momma!
Too bad about the bird TV!
Hopefully there will be a new show coming on soon that's entertaining enough for her.
 
Don't you hate neighbors who rip out plants and vegetation that is habitat and also lovely? We had neighbors in the back in Brooklyn who ripped out all of the hedges along the fenceline and then did nothing. They also cut their lawn with scissors!

I wonder if you could entice the bird to back with a bath or feeder? You may also want to get a rabbit or two - they do a great job on the weeds ;)

C'mon Polly you've been around here more than long enough to know the appropriate response to a dosecrease threat :D
 
Well, she did as you asked. She came down. A little. You might try a little more tomorrow, Polly.

I find it fascinating that we are in the middle of a drought in California and we've had no measurable rain for ages. The grass and other good vegetation is all brown, but the weeks are green and growing!!!!!!! Doesn't it just figure? :rolleyes:
