Unfortunately, he didn't listen to you this time. I fed at +6 and had to run errands. It took longer than I figured so I got home at +8 and found Rex at 38. I should have known if I think it's safe for me to leave... it's not! I immediately fed HC with honey.

If you haven't all ready, I would feed a small amount of LC now as the honey and HC is probably wearing off as it does leave the system fast. So the LC will carry him some. The insulin should start to lose some steam soon.

I decided to wait and check at +9.5 and he's up to 72. I want him hungry for dinner. He had many snacks today!

I fed HC with honey because I learned this morning just HC doesn't do enough. I didn't know HC wears off faster. He did get a few bites from another cat's dish (LC).
