Mom Update:

Cardiology confirmed a "mild" heart attack, I am not doctor, but to me a heart attack is a heart attack LOL. She seemed in much better spirits today. My cousin ended up in the same hospital for some stomach issues, so my mom's Nurse's Aide brought her up to see him. She walked to the elevator bank, to his room and back, so she is certainly moving around. General Surgery (for the bowel obstruction) cleared her to go home today, but we have to wait at least one more night and have cardio look at her tomorrow. She is going stir crazy and driving us crazy in the process, so I am hoping and praying they are able to release her tomorrow. Then begins the battle to get her to start eating and such again. But one thing/battle at a time, I guess.

Molly Update:

I am feeling a bit better after my mini meltdown last night. Thank you all for putting up with me. I think I just hit a breaking point and was very overtired and things just seemed so much more hopeless last night. I think the 142 also threw me for a loop.....oh the perspective as I remember going around the house doing a happy dance the first time Skooter got a number in the 200s I was so happy LOL. I will be able to go back to work tomorrow, just in time for the weekend! I am hoping to get things back on track. Also hoping to be as packed as possible for my work trip this weekend AND get some cleaning in AND finish up my sister's thank you cards for her shower. Yes ambitious I know, but I will see what I can do. Trying to get a head start on laundry and cleaning tonight. I am hoping that things will just continue to slowly but surely get better. I am hoping that I can work myself to the breaking point, just to get this house finally in shape and in order, so when I come home from my work trip, I can start fresh on eating right, working out and trying to find some "take care of Molly" time. I do think that at some point this weekend, I will pop in for a pedicure, though :)

Skooter Update:

Skooter started out today awesome! Even though he is a lil pissy at me for having to feed him later than normal as we work our way back down the dosing scale. Tomorrow morning is back to 615 and I try to always shoot between 600 and 615, so we should be good. He seems to be doing just fine. One new thing over the last I would say two weeks, is when I come home, he is at the stairs and he is starting to meow at me. I am not sure if that is his, feed me now meow or what. Nothing bad, nor do I assume it is bad, I just find it kind of sweet. I like to think that he is just sayin, "Hey Momma, I am happy you are home." He is staying pretty close to me when I am home, but again, he and I are just really intune to each other....it has been just the two of us for 12 years after all, and I think he just senses momma has a little more stress than normal.

Once again, I want to say thank you to everyone who has put up with me during the past stressful week. It sure is nice to have a place to come and get support when I need it. You guys are the greatest! And while I do not have a lot of time to post on condos, I do try to read them as much as possible. I am hoping that in the evenings when I have down time at my conference, I will be able to really catch up on condos.....please know how much I appreciate all the kind words and support you have given me.

Much better to have a mild heart attack Molly....it means less damage done to the heart muscle. Vines that she continues to improve. And take care of yourself:bighug:

Piling on more healing vines for your Mom! Meltdowns are understandable...it is SO stressful when a parent is unwell!:bighug::bighug::bighug:
