Bear bounced last night from blue.

@Wendy&Neko I will start looking for the answers to those questions.
Thanks for laying out the criteria needed. :)
I feel like Bear's dose is still to low but his bounces muddying the picture don't help.

(Does Levemir also have momentum during bounce breaking cycles?)

The link to your previous post. http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/bear-6-22-8th-day-on-levemir-first-dose-increase.215987/

Knowing onset, duration, plus how much of a numbers bump he gets from food will help you shoot lower numbers. For example, as long as Neko was on her way up at shot time (I liked getting a +9 or +10 to tell me which way she was going), she would get 30 points or so from her meal, and would still rise for 5 hours until onset, so I had no problem shooting in the 50’s.

Oh, type of insulin has no impact on bounce breaking momentum. The hope is that flatter Lev cycles reduces the height of bounces.

It will also take Bear’s body a while to learn how to use the new hormone (insulin). It can take 1-3 months to see full effect.
