Skipping won't completely drain the depot, just deplete it a bit. If numbers are going into green - personally, there is no way I would let anyone shoot without testing. Perhaps try again with her? I plan to train my sitter to test if at all possible. If she really truly cannot test, then I plan to at least half the current dose, knowing that I will be starting again working on getting good numbers when I return. How long are you gone for?

Very surprised that a vet tech can't test - at our vet's, it is the vet tech who does ALL the blood draws and testing. Not the vet.

I am happy for you to see that green and her earning a reduction! I know it must be nerve-wracking to be leaving though. I wish I could offer advice but I am new. Just wanted to send you some vines :bighug: someone will help you figure this out.

I think if you are leaving Monday morning, it may be wise to have a couple of cycles on a selected "pet sitter" dose before leaving. Since there won't be any tests, you could maybe go down to 3u tonight, and see how Titi does for the next few cycles on that dose. The jump up from 3u to 3.5u seems like it was too much, since you saw lime greens today. Is your pet sitter going to be around to watch her and feed +3 through mid cycle?

You can either skip tonight or give a token dose if you can monitor tonight. Both will help drain the depot. Too bad you hadn't given 3.0 units a chance to see if it was a good dose. Though it did see green on the 13th, so I wouldn't dose any more than 3.0. It's a dose on a line so easy to measure for the tech. I would leave a sample syringe with coloured liquid to show what the dose looks like.

Will Titi eat while you are gone? If not, I might lower the dose more. You are only gone a few days.

because of the lime gr, I fed her a lot ofHC. She'll eat that no matter what, but not a good idea
. Still don't know why she soared so high. Can HC do that?

If you're worried TiTi won't eat tonight, I'd skip the shot. :bighug::bighug:

Probably some of it's due to the HC, but it's more likely the beginning of a bounce

25 is really low so she'll probably bounce pretty significantly

Was 39. Did I enter it wrong?

No, so 39 is not quite so bad. I would have freaked at 25.

It's iffy. She was eating kibbles the last time I left, and not at all sick. She ate well then. But she's none too fond of the LC food. I sometimes mix in a little of the HC, and that seems to get her going. I also mix in baby food, with sometimes a good result.

I leave home Monday at 9am. Will be gone 4 full days. Return on the 30th, and home by 5m.

I can try 3U, and ask Nicky, my sitter, if TiTI's eating. If she isn't, I can ask Nicky to lower the dose to 2.5, or is that not a safe enough dose?

Isn't a callout supposed to turn the type blue?

Yea, it was too big a leap. But I've never seen HI Black before, and she kept hitting it during a 6 cycle event. I got really scared.

Tonight I was planning to skip the dose, although Wendy suggested just shooting a slimmer dose, if I can monitor TiTi. I'm not so sure I'll be able to monitor thru the night.
It's an hour past her PMPS now. sheesh.

    Oh I see what I did....It's 39 @ 5.25

    Not 39 @ +5 and 25 @ 5.5

Sorry, I am out of country, so slow to respond. I also cannot tell a good petsitter dose with the data you have. 2.5 would be safer but she may run a little high.
