She peed blood. Call out to vet. This can not be good. She is acting fine otherwise. It was fairly recent before I saw it as the litter didn't soak it up yet. Just puddle of blood in corner of box that had very little litter in it.

Maybe she was straining to pee and that also caused the amps cause her bib was wet with foam like she spit up. Anal glands very little filled and she doesn't have that stink as if they just drained.

Sounds a bit congested as maybe sinuses are full. Mine are today. She was coughing and sneezing last night. We were down to low 60s overnight so a/c wasn't on. Only 70 now. But I got some serious post nasal drip going. I will hold off her subq until I hear from vet.

Does Olive get D-Mannose? Ravan had blood in his urine from a UTI now I give him D-mannose a few times a week & so far it's helped.
My kitty Alice has runny eyes for nearly 3 weeks & now Ravan has it. They both were sneezing too. I remember my vet telling me that if it's a virus antibiotic won't help. ( always something!)

She does get dmannose daily, 1/8 tsp.

Vet doesn't want to do anything until the ultrasound is done. Ollie is acting normal. She did go again and this time it was just blood tinged urine and not blood only.

Does anyone think I should continue the dmannose? Vet didn't have an opinion. Could the dmann cause irritation?

We are having some wicked downpours and thunder.

What a scare for you to find that in the litter box today! What a sin, poor Ollie! I hope it isn't anything too serious... sending max healing vines for our girl Olive... get better soon girl!!

I've not heard of any side effects from D-Mannose. If it may be a UTI, I think I'd keep giving it to her just in case. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh Paula, I'm so sorry. Poor little Olive and poor you. I hope this turns out to be something easily fixable. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
When's the ultrasound scheduled for?
