Yesterday's long day

Julie left a little while ago, on her way home. It was great meeting someone who was really instrumental in saving Neko's life. When we started on the board, Julie was the only other acrokitty mom who posted regularly and gave us advice and suggestions and comfort when it was most needed. :bighug:

Neko showed Julie her newly nekkid belly. She got a few strokes in and Theo hung around the solarium in spite of the stranger voices. Cats know cat people.

I got my purr and chat at 4:30 instead of at AMPS. Maybe it's her way of saying Good Morning! CPC of the approved food.

Many vines going out today for Trixie, Amy's Dad, and Bubba, and any others in need.

All in all it looks like things are headed in the right direction. So nice that you got to meet Julie and Tricia met Dyana.

That is so nice that you were able to connect with someone from the board. That is my fantasy; to go to each state and country and meet my virtual friends :bighug: Good going with the CPC Neko! Thank for the extra vines. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

How lovely for you and Julie to meet each other and of course Neko would recognise another cat person and especially another crazy cat lady....they always do. I always think cats (and dogs) are great judges of character.

What a stressful time for you (and Neko) getting all those tests done but great to get improvements and an overall good report! I will be interested how they address the urine protein creatinine ratio with the benazapril or are they going to change the medication?

Neko you're dipping your wee toes in the lagoon, why not go in for a swim?
Sounds like you had a good visit with Julie!

The vet had a couple of options in mind. Neko's on a smaller dose of benazapril, so that could be increased. Still waiting to hear what the plan is.

Hi guys, How neat that Julie came to visit you! Looks like both Neko and Theo enjoyed her visit, too.

Yo Neko, great to see you in the lagoon. Coming back later?

I love it when we get a chance to meet each other in person! So enjoyed our time together with you and Mariko in the Oval on Sunday. It is a banner week to meet up with two LLers! Nice green there Neko.:D

Wow, CPC and a visit to the lagoon! Then, to add the cherry on top of the sundae, a visit with Julie and her DH. Sound like a good day in Nekoland! :) I love meeting other members in person. Funny, we never seem to run out of things to talk about!

That's so neat you could meet up with Julie! Sorry to hear poor Neko had such a long day yesterday at the vet, but glad for good results and I hope your vet can come up with a workable plan for your girl! Good Girl Neko, eat your fuds! Hope Theo is doing good?

What a difference an 1/8 of a unit makes, or .19mm. :D Budesonide was closer to the usual time today, so she should start soaring in a few hours. Still waiting to hear from the IM vet on the meds change. I'll contact them tomorrow if I don't hear first thing. I don't want to wait until next week (Friday is a Canada Day) to try to tackle the proteinuria.

I got my scale out today to see how Neko compares here to the vet's, and pretty close. Civie Theo has actually gained a tiny bit. :) Not that he needed it, but you don't want weight loss with IBD/lymphoma. Theo is doing pretty good. Still limping a bit on his hind where he injured his crutiate ligament. :( But otherwise seems to be doing well. I promised him movie and a lap tonight. Oops, he just asked for a down payment.
It is a banner week to meet up with two LLers!
And I got three this week. :):)

Lol at her peeing on the table yesterday! Perhaps she knew what they wanted and was trying to be obliging :cat: hope you can get her proteinuria sorted out quickly.
