Yes I doAre you going to be home to monitor and do you have plenty of supplies and HC food?
Yes I do[/Q
Nervous but I'll do it. Wish me luckI am at work and cannot stay with you. Since you can monitor, and have supplies, you should be okay to shoot your normal dose. Make sure to get a +1 and a +2 to see what he does. Keep your subject line updated to you can get advice if needed.

I have the food and honey and syrup. I'll need to look at the hypo guide. I don't have it printed.Only here for short time. Monitor. In case it's needed and hope it isn't do you have high carb food (wet foid), syrup ( my gal loves pure maple syrup, but karo or honey is what's used more often). Do you have the hypo guide printed out?
DO NOT GIVE ANY R.

Don't understand reduction point! Is it bg amps number?I just have a few minutes right now. I’ve been looking at his SS and he’s been doing great, I’m thrilled to see this number. As a note, I’d think about using a higher number than 50 as a reduction point because of his large depot. You might want to try 70 or 80. Some acro moms used a bit higher but 70-80 might be a good range to start. If he drops below, say 70, you would reduce to 22u and we will see how he does. We are on new ground with him but wow does his SS look better!
Be sure you get a +1 and +2. If I have any chance to check in again, I will but it’s going to be a fairly busy day.
This is so awesome!!!!!!!! A blue number on his own!!!
If his BG goes below that number you take the reduction. It's not necessarily the nadir.Don't understand reduction point! Is it bg amps number?
thanks for the correction Carla. If his BG goes below that number you take the reduction. It's not necessarily the nadir.
Not to worry. There'll be time for that and you have some wonderful helpers. After what you've had to deal with you'll get there. It's just new territory for you and Biscuits. It is so awesome you got here after all that hard work. You may even see some green numbers today, how awesome would that be?Now I understand. Lots of information to remember. I'm not too good at navigating the posts. Where to find specific info..
Funny you should say that, we're almost to green!!!Not to worry. There'll be time for that and you have some wonderful helpers. After what you've had to deal with you'll get there. Nice...he's going nice and easy. Stay on top of it though. Looking at his SS he normally drops again at +4, that's going to be green i'll bet.Funny you should say that, we're almost to green!!!
Yes, I'm in nurse mode now!!Nice...he's going nice and easy. Stay on top of it though. Looking at his SS he normally drops again at +4, that's going to be green i'll bet.Have you relaxed a bit?
He had a snackI think a smidge of lc food now or at to slow it down especially if he drops +4 might be in order.
what do others think? Do you have a target number you intervene at?
I use 60 for Ollie but she is always lower when I catch it. I believe Wendy used 70 because of other conditions.
Aawh didn't make the green, but boy did he have good numbers this cycle. Can't enter the number on the SS.
It says error and draws a line through the number!

We're hanging!!Wow, that is all I can say. Biscuits you are one cool kitty in bluehang in there mom

Thank you! He's still in the blue!I'm with Marje -- what a great cycle. You are doing great!!
Thanks for checking in. Hoping for nice numbers next cycle!Nice cycle.
I usually used 50 as the reduction point, as per TR. However, when reductions came fast and furious after SRT or IAA was breaking, then I was more cautious and used 70 until reductions slowed down. I also never got over 10 units is dose. All you can do is experiment and see what works for Biscuits and you.
That's good to hear. I really appreciate all the support!! Bronx is a handsome boy! Those blues are so pretty. Bronx's first blue was at 23u of Lev with 4u of R. Greens are coming soon
