Great run for the Purrdstar yesterday, hoomins were very pleased indeed and it's nights like that when it really pays off that mum has 4 o'clock as her shooting time so she's not up until all hours of the night ;) Once again he decided to give church a miss with this morning's numbers and even a leave pass for mum to stop for morning tea afterwards. What a good boy, but I hope it doesn't take him long to get back to business.

Vyktor woke me up with furry, purry headbutts this morning - always lovely even if it was a bit early! He hadn't eaten at all over night but I think that's because he's decided that Weruva isn't his cup of tea anymore. He ate ok yesterday and there seems to be less groaning on eating. He's such a little trooper :)

Busy morning for me got to get the dishes done, get Miss Meggy out for her run and then head for a live export protest at the docks. Once again Animals Australia has got footage of atrocious cruelty against Australian animals (not that it should matter which country the animals started in!). This time from Vietnam where they have been sledgehammering to cows to death. The govt keeps telling people that with all the mechanisms they've put in place Australian animals aren't treated cruelly once they get to their destination (as if the trip itself isn't horrifically cruel!) but Animals Australia keeps getting footage showing them to be wrong. I can't believe that a country as developed as Australia still permits live export - shame on us

Great numbers for Purrdy. :D How nice that he let your mom go to church without having to take him. How sweet on the headbutts from Vyktor. Your report on the animals sounds horrible. I can't believe stuff like that still goes on.

Yes the cruelty to those animals is just terrible. It keeps me awake at night if I think about it. When the live sheep trade was very active a few years ago I used to get petitions up and go round getting people to sign them. I wrote so many letters to politicians pleading with them to stop the trade but it fell on deaf ears.
I am totally against live trade exporting.

Dear Auntie,
I thinks you shouldn't worry too much bout the fud Vyktor left last night. He ate plenty of, ahem, tofurkey at my house. Dat bunny hab lots of fun too. We kitteh's always enjoys her comp'ny, and she loves to hang out wit us. She says she wants to come to all our parties!
Love,
Mikey

Wow, great run for Purrdy yesterday. Nice of him to let your Mum go to church unaccompanied. Now, he just needs to get off the trampoline.

Vyktor, what a lovely way to wake your mamabean. Perhaps you could try doing it just a little bit later? Beans don't sleep all day like kitties do, so she needs her rest at night.

Good for Purrdy!
Vyktor, I hope you find some new, tasty fuds soon. A guy's gotta eat!

What awful news about the transport of animals for horrible deaths in another country. Here in the US our wild horses are rounded up and sent to horrific slaughter in Mexico. Comcerned people have been protesting this for years now.

Purrdy is doing great with his glucose levels and pats to Vyktor and Meg too. I am also against the live animal export trade and I hope this cruel trade will be stopped.

Go Purrdy!! :D:D And Mum!! :D:D Appy vines for Vyktor- Tiger didn't much care for the low carb Weruva though it would have been perfect for her, but she does like the high carb ones that I use when she drops too low.

Not just in OZ, shame on US as well- we haven't evolved much at all, very sad...

He was listening Auntie Molly :D

So I didn't quite get the dishes done (how could I deprive Meg of that extra time outside) but the protest went well today. I arrived early but the police were already there  they did leave at about the half way mark once they realised that we weren't going to blow up the docks or something. I got quite a bit of puppy love while I was there - there were all shapes and sizes :joyful: and even a little ferret love :joyful: I think the ferret liked me because I smelled of rabbit. And bonus for me, a vegan Thai food place I like had moved into the markets there so I got a surprise great lunch too :)

I heard that Meg enjoyed herself Mikey, she hasn't stopped giggling since she got home, even while she was still flicking the gravy out of her ears. But I think Vyktor's sorry he ate so much tofurkey since he read Meg's confession in your condo ;)

Tanks for cheering me on lovely Aunties, it makes me want to do my bestest for you all - Purrdy xxx
