Last condo was Rex's best day in a while. Then he had to go and do this today.

He creeps upwards then he starts over. It happens every time I give YA if I'm out of town. His body goes lower with YA, but I use that only for vacation fuds.

I still need to try raw food. I got the sample from EZ Complete the other day.

103 is still a normal number but I too always hated to see them when Bubba was OTJ. Maybe he's paying you back from the 12 hour fast the other night.

Hi. I think I read somewhere that if you feed raw, the cat doesn't need to eat as much as he would need to with canned food. Is this right? How do you know how much to feed besides weighing the cat?

I don't know anything about raw food, but it's nice to see Rex slide down today.

About 2/3 of the way down this page, is a section on how much to feed. Neko ate about 1/4 lb of raw per day (125 grams) but in canned it was closer to a full 5.5 oz can. She was around 14 lbs. You start with a particular amount and use your scale to see if it's the right amount.

I stayed with the calorie formula ( 13.5 X weight + 70 = calories a day) I used when Bubba was eating canned and he is maintaining the same weight. He weighs about 16.7 lbs and I feed him 6 oz of raw food a day.

Thanks. I opened the envelope last night to find 4 samples, not just 1! She apologized for the sample not being sent out last week. I'm prepping the raw chicken tonight and hope to test tomorrow.

As far as the amount to feed: It's like Wendy said with the recommendations on Fur4 life EZ complete, it's a starting point as is the formula I use. Which ever one you use, it can be tweaked to meet yours and Rex's needs.
