    Good morning all -

Everything is going well with Tina Marie. I hope in two more weeks, she's racing around the house, ha!

She does have an appointment with the eye specialist (possible conjunctivitis is what her vet thought) Sept 9. We could have gone yesterday, but my dad's appointment had priority. It was a family meeting with a neuro psychiatrist. We are trying to get everything in line for my dad's continuing decline with dementia. So sad, and I know so many of you have experienced the same heartbreak. I went through it with both grandmas, now it's my dad.

Love, light, healing and happiness to all of you!

So sorry to hear about your dad...I deal with it with my mother...it's sad to see them change like that.

Hope Tina will feel better soon...and the vet can help her eye(s).

    Enjoy your day Jan!

So nice to hear that Tina is doing well. Hopefully you will get the eye condition under control too!
Unfortunately, I too, know what you are going through with the dementia in the family and it is very hard on the care givers. It is a terrible disease.
Surf safely Tina and have a wonderful day!:D

Very nice Tina. I deal with the paranoid dementia of Parkinson's with my dad. It's so hard sometimes.

I'm so sorry Paula. There isn't much to be optimistic about, but having others understand helps. I've seen commercials about a drug that helps with the Parkinson's paranoia. :bighug::bighug: of course I don't know if it helps.
Everyone who has posted knows the hurt inside. :bighug:

:cat:We just had a Happy thing happen.
Animal Ophthalmology just called and can get us in tomorrow! I had just called to make sure they would put us on a call if cancellation list, and got a call back in one minute! Since the holiday is approaching, people were cancelling appointments:)

I would think so too! The regular vet just wasn't trusting his judgement, partly because of the rocky start we had after Tina's diagnosis (?) We had tried two different medications, without success.
Thrilled we don't have to wait until Sept 9!

Looks like Tina is doing a nice slide today off of her 124 - keep it going down furry girlfriend. I am sorry to hear about your Dad - I sometimes think it's more difficult for the family than the person himself. I think few families are untouched by the dementia thief; in ours it was my father-in-law.

Nice start and nice slide for Tina today! Vetty vines for her appointment tomorrow, I hope its something that can be cleared easily :)

Sorry to hear about your dad, I think that dementia can be so devastating, I am happy for your father though that he has a family that continues to be there for him and supports him.
