Day before yesterday. Yesterday Leda seems to have surfed well while I was away, and today he's already back out on his surfboard. We're getting a lot of smoke down here from the BC wildfires--I can't imagine how bad it must be closer to the fires! Keep cool kitties!

We have a special air quality advisory statement here. Don't want to open the windows. Hundreds of miles from the fires. It's 7 out of 10 on the air quality scale. DBIL lives in a city that is 18 on the scale! And he's still not close to fires. Bring on the rain!

CBC (it comes in better here than the local US radio stations ) was reminding folks that pets suffer from poor air quality too--fortunately retired Leda has been taking it easy and mostly staying inside (though we have the windows open--since it rarely gets this hot here open windows and a fan are our only "AC").
