This morning surprised me. She was surfing 300's last night. Ketones 0.5 this morning. Her appy is half what it normally is. So far has kept it down. I gave her some Gab this morning. She still looks off. I think something is brewing. She seems to have gas, she stinks. On phone with vet to see about getting her in before the weekend, and we have appt later today. And with my preferred Dr.

Talk about extreme. Every orifice was checked and she gives me a 32 when we get home?????? I guess it's because she isn't eating well yet.

Anyways, Dr thought upon touching her she was warm and had a temp, but no, temp is normal. He said she does have some gastrointestinal upset as there is a lot of rumblings and movement going on. Feels some liquidy stuff. Didn't know you could feel that. He gave her injectable cerenia, oooh she did not like that. I'm to call tomorrow with update. He will call around to see if someone can compound it or ondansteron into a liquid for me. If not be will get me a bottle of the injectable.

Having to syringe maple syrup in. She just licked up some watered AD food.
 
That cerenia does sting, but hopefully it helps her feel better quickly. Some kitties do drop instead of spike from stress like vetty visits...sounds like Olive is one of those kitties. Appy and feel better vines!
 
Yikes, what a day! :bighug: Paws crossed she's turned the corner.

You can get injectible ondansetron - it won't sting like the Cerenia.

I will mention that tomorrow when I call him. I have 2 hrs to decide what to do with insulin. I guess it depends on whether she's eating better.
