last post was Friday --since then, he has improved a lot - his stool is normal, he is eating - acting normal (for Murphy). He had an ultrasound a few weeks ago and the initial report (in real time) was that it was not changed from the one he had in January 2016. But I got the final report and I've been depressed since I read it - he has increased thickening across the entire length of his small intestine (can't rule out neoplasm) and new findings in his pancreas. His liver is still enlarged and there are findings in his bile duct as well. I"m going to try to include it in my signature (@Doodles & Karen once told me how to do this - still looking for the thread).

So far, the budesonide seems to be helping - I increased his insulin to 1.5 units - looks like I can probably increase to 1.75 - strange how his amps has been in the pinks the last few days. I also ordered some canna, and I am super excited to see if that can help him.

I'd also give the poo pills (animalbiome) a high mark - no more diarrhea... for now.
@Mandarin'sMom - I saw PetRefuge got some Hurricane Harvey dogs - did you see them yet?

Happy After Labor Day, - hugs and scritches to everyone

I'm glad he's feeling better right now, Carol. Those reports are stressing you out I'm sure. :( You're doing the right thing in focusing on what you can do to help at this point in time.

I'm so glad he's feeling better. Have you talked to the vet about the discrepancy between what you were told and the actual report? I think sometimes there are minor changes that have to be noted as changes, but that they aren't significantly different enough when coupled with other data....prayers that you get some answers.

Hopefully the budesonide will help. To add the info, click on your name located on the dark blue tool bar at the top right, then select "signature". It's normal to have some discrepancy from the real-time and the actual report once the radiologist reviews it. Lots of appy and feel good vines and prayers :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

It's good to hear that Murphy is feeling and doing better. That's something to focus on. :bighug:

Did vetty talk about a endoscopy or biopsy? I'm glad the budesonide is working - in Neko's follow up U/S her bowel thickness had gone down 30%. It's good to see his weight isn't changing much.

Yes on the dosecrease.

@Wendy&Neko - no one has mentioned bx or endoscopy - yet. I'm inclined to let him be for awhile - while he is finally able to put a string of good days together. I'm amazed budesonide decreased Neko's bowel thickness byl 30% - that is amazing.
When I am able to put the entire U/S in my signature, I'll tag you to take a look, Wendy.
@Doodles & Karen -Karen -you helped me get the ImmuneIQ document into google docs and then my signature. How do I get the ultasound into google docs?
@Mandarin'sMom - the dogs looked so cute - such a bummer about heartworms though

I'll increase him tonight, although I'm a bit scared as I never know when he will decide not to eat
