Bam - first day after lowering dose to .75

Here's how we did first day of the lowered dose. My husband tried to get home to test at nadir but couldn't make it. Will try again tomorrow. I should be home quite a bit this weekend so I can take more tests throughout the day. I'm also planning to get supplies for ketone testing this weekend so if anyone has any recommendations of what I should purchase - I would welcome them. Thanks.

Hi Jill. I was on your welcome thread. You guys are doing good. Glad to see that you are getting the hang of it.

The spreadsheet looks good. Mid point (nadir) tests are good and I can see you going for those soon.

For ketone tests, I just bought a $10 or $11 vial of strips from Walgreens. They work fine. The problem is getting them into the flow of urine. Good luck with that. I think if you get them into the litter real quick it is kinda close. I only tested Leo a few times. I got lucky...he was facing the other way. But still he was saying "Dad, what the heck are you doing back there...I'm trying to pee."

Thanks Jeff. I got the ketostix at Target. Haven't been able to successfully collect urine yet. I will keep trying.
